I've got something similar... Also made from WW2 parachute material. It has a orange lining.

Flight suit similar to these shirts
I have a large flight suit with similar cammo pattern like your shirts , it has a tag white with "mil spec' bla blaa on it , anyone interested in it contact me and maybe we can work a swap, I'm looking for US hats modern .vonstuck wrote:
I have bought the 2 shirts at the same guy who say it is from Africa
The second shirt is a Chinese pattern
it's a jacket that was disassembled and remanufactured to look like the other
Crazy!

Re: My unknowns
I have a different style shirt, but the same camo, with the same badges (one on each arm). Even have one rank badge with arabic writing on it. My assumption is that it is Saudi.

Re: My unknowns
This is the most rare cammo in the world. There are only 2 known examples in existence. One is your's and one is mine and my one is available for trade.

What is this DPM variant? It kinda looks like a Pakistani suit worn in Somalia.

I have never discovered where it was from. My suit is Btitish made and my guess is that it was intended for a middle east state.

Can you post a picture of your shirt?
Did your shirt has a label?

Re: My unknowns
I'll try to take some pictures this weekend. I don't think it is the same exact piece, only that the pattern looks very similar. No markings in mine at all. I bought it from someone who got it from a US soldier who was in Somalia. I think I have some pictures of Pakistanis in such a uniform at the time.

Photos as requested.
Here is the shirt
Here are the trousers
No labels in either but some numbers written on the inside of the shirt which make no sense 9223 56

Re: My unknowns
I found a picture of an apparently identical set in my Iraq folder. The pic I have is from eBay and the file is time stamped 2007. Whether this is Iraqi or not, I can not say, however the seller must have identified it as such or I would have put it elsewhere
My set doesn't look exactly like this pattern, but I'll take some pics of it anyway for comparison.

Re: My unknowns
The 2 color blue DPM uniform looks like a recent contract Kuwait police uniform. It is consistent with their design, including the narrow strips of velcro. I just sold an older issue type that was made out of smooth cotton. I thought it might be Yemeni, but someone on this forum posted a picture of a hat which has a Kuwait police badge embroidered into it.

Made by Compton and webb , these were offloaded past 2 month directly by Compton and webb via eBay for £14.99 a set. They had this , 4 part blue DPM in old 80's print and 2 colour regular desert all in this BDU cut. C&W listed as overstock cancelled order. vonstuck wrote:I put this blue DPM in my unknown because I have never seen picture showing this pattern wearing
