Czech commercial desert pattern

these are Czech commercial pattern , theres a couple stories behind them , one they were contract for first gulf war , but ended up not being used , thats why most examples are new mint .
I have seen pics of this Uni being used early during the second Gulf War .

Have any of you guys seen a real stamp on any item of this pattern , I have only seen the stamp above on the boot , every other piece I have is generally unmarked ,I have seen pics of Czech soldiers wearing this camo in Iraq , so it was issued if even only as a test pattern .

Great find with those boots!! They are the first thing I've ever seen with stamps on it. However, on eBay I did see a jacket which had two standard velcro patches over the right breast pocket, so it's possible that one was official since none of the others I've seen have it.

What I know is, that this uniform was trial pattern from the mid of 90´s. During the first Gulf War in 1991 Czech soldiers used vz.85 green uniforms. Vz.85 uniform exist in about 6 patterns! For the Gulf War was used uniform from lightweigt material. After the war Army started to prepare desert uniform. This is the trial patter by Agreco company. Unfortunaly there is no any information about it. I have this uniform in my collection but there is only the tag with the size. That is all.
Because Czech Army standard desert uniform became vz.85 in desert pattern, later vz.95 these trial pattern unforms were sold commercialy. 10 years ago were almost in every army surplus store. Today are hard to find.

I have a over seas cap in this pattern- by mistake I`ve putted it in a separate thread- the label inside says:

Just a fresh find. Czechoslovakian overseas cap made in the desert trial pattern fabric. Issue one, made in 1991. Label is in perfect condiotion, the cap looks like it was never worn.

It can be Yours I`m not keeping it for myself- since I don`t have any other parts of this uniform. I have to check one or two stores- I remember that they had those boots, they were costing like peanuts. Nobody wanted to buy them.... I`ll check and maybe they still have them!

I was told by one man that in this pattern exist: patrol cap, baseball cap with the mesh, scarf, coat, overcoat, pants and 2 types of boots. He told me, that about 10years ago Tonak company offered this complete uniforms to its stuff for really few money.
Today I checked my collection and I have overcoat vz.85 in desert pattern dated 1992! So it looks that both patterns: this commercial/trial and vz.85 are from early 90´s as reaction on the Desert Storm.

To Panzerwerk: can you post the picture of Czech soldiers in Iraq in this uniforms? Thanks.

I can look and see if I can find them again , but there a few pictures on military photos a few years back , they were wearing some pieces not whole uniforms , mostly shits,pants and hats .

Good find on that overseas cap! I've never seen a field jacket (overcoat) in this pattern, just the 4 pocket type.

Steve, what is the "small bag"? I've only seen the gasmask bag and duffle bag. And don't forget the boonie hat! Very hard to find, but I've had a couple of them.

I saw 2 different sized bags for sale on Ebay a few years ago , one was the "gas mask bag" and another GP type bag smaller in size , they were on Ebay for all of 2 seconds and I have not seen them again .

I finally picked up 2 boonies and 2 patrol caps to add too the collection, one of each new and 1 of each used.

interestingly, I have seen photos of a gun case made in the same camouflage pattern, but using more "temperate" colours. Have you seen other items made in this pattern?

Czech Desert trial Trucker style cap , it is completely sterile like most of the other items in this pattern , just a small size tag , I would think if it was made for the civilian market , it would have some kind of manufactures tag in it , but I could be wrong , well made piece .
