Shame there are no labels/stamps present so hope they are original.

Both made of ripstop material.

They look genuine to me.
Interesting point the first batch of IP-DPM covers were made in 2001.A later batch issued circa 2004/05 had a design flaw.The openings for the drawstrings were at the front rather than the back as per normal.
So if you reversed the cover so the strings were tied at the back and then tucked away,the elastic "cradle" on the cover for holding scrim was back to front IE the front straps(normally positioned higher to stop scrim blocking your vision)were half way up the back of the helmet and the back strap were just over your eyebrows!!!
Not good and a typical OPW(office of public works,providers of all uniforms across the Irish public sector) quality control Fcuk up.

nice covers gulf do you know if these will fit the british mk6 or are they designed to only fit the rabintex helmet

Havent tried them to be honest but they look like exact copies of the British MK6 cover so should fit.

They were up until lately quite rare but a few are appearing on Ebay now.

raptor can i ask how would i tell a reproduction cover from the real deal is it down to maker marks etc regards jay

Of all the ones appearing on Ebay(and the 2 i own) none have any stampings or labels but are apparently 100% legit,

Having never seen one with either a label or stamping i cannot comment im afraid.

thanks gulf if i may reluctantly add mine to show you , the inside is a totally different shade to your two examples mine is a shade of green also it has no maker marks so this i why i was asking about fakes regards jay

ok gulf ive noticed my drawcord looks identical to your examples maybe mine is a more modern version its almost as if its reversable with it having olive green colour lining thanks again mate jay
