Thanks guys. Its a very interesting piece, I even didn't recognize at first that the jacket has no lower pockets.

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
The KAZ69 was a simplified solution and used by both infantry and tankers. But all camo KAZ stuff
was worn mixed up.

The Cap is very interesting. Looks better than the KAZ stuff. And the recycled shirt, well as mentioned before, I like it. Nice stuff. Thanks for sharing Alex.

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
It is absolutely incredible that a uniform could be issued to every single soldier for nearly 20 years and yet there's almost NONE of it around. So little, in fact, that two advanced Austrian collectors in this thread alone are seeing a hat for the first time! Yet the camo uniforms from the same time period are available by the truckload. I don't get it.

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
Just got this nice KAZ 03 trials infantry-module backpack from 2002.
It has some very nice features and is built very well.

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
Excellent find! I wonder if a warehouse dumped a bunch of these over the past few years. Same with the KAZ57 trousers. They went from extremely rare to findable if you look carefully enough.
Ironically I was just thinking about KAZ57 because 20 minutes ago my wife brought my latest win... an unmodified KAZ57 with the shoulder role still on it! $35 with postage from Thailand. Crazy world we live in, eh?

Thanks for the kind words. The thread did grow nicely over the years.
And I must say I'm a bit proud about that.

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
Thanks. Alex!
Nice jacket, indeed.
I have heard that meta-aramid is a good flame-resistant material, but it is not so robust as poly- and cotton blends or pure materials.
This is the price of safety, and aramid clothes tend to become torn and worn quite quickly.
So do not wash such jackets in washing machine very often..

Re: Mylle's Austrian Stuff
are they just using Multicam now? i know the Austrian army are changing to their new pattern. Are their SF going to that pattern too?
