    These were found in the Philippines ..

    I can understand finding the Corpsman DCU there, but really strange to find a 173Abn. modified DCU with the mustard stain in Asia.. ( Chalk   8 )  . Shoulder flag and label were removed.

    I think that some of this clothing perhaps ends up in Asia indirectly through the rag trade, and is then redistributed from there.

    Yes, the rag /used clothing trade has certainly been a source of scarce and mundane camo for years.

    Luckily, some of the jewels are saved and bought by collectors, but I can only imagine what goes lost..

    I don't believe the DCUs came from such source simply because of the historic US presence in that area ( Philippines ) and also because they lack the many wrinkles of rag bale fare.

    Check out what was recently found in such a rag bale ( in Thailand ).
