US flag on the left arm?Interesting.
Very nice but for some reasons I would like to go and get some bacon and chocolate chip cookies....

US flag was originally  worn on the left sleeve ...

What makes this blouse more interesting is the theater made insignia,  name and US Navy tapes.

Strange that only the rank insignia was removed ..

These have piled up over the past months..


The first one is particularly different than most I run into .

The former owner was a Naval Flight Officer at one point.  Could have been a Naval, or Marine officer . The interesting thing about the insignia is  the earlier black embroider; later insignia used spice ( color ) embroidery .

Lovely batch of some cool BDU blouses! How many of them do you already have? Must be tons....

Have accumulated quite a few.. Not tons, but enough that I need a new rack.

The good ones are getting scarcer ...

Obviously the same Curtis...Very cool..

Aircrew utilities are awesome, especially patched.

Some Spec Operators favored flight suits and aircrew clothing long before purpose built combat clothing was conceived.

I also like the fact that Curtis is a cheap bastage who refused to buy new name/Army tapes but instead took old ones and flattened them out to fit over the pockets

I feel the old BDU/DCU jackets are like crack. Once you start collecting them you can't stop. I have been practicing the "just say no to drugs" approach because I know I'll buy too many if I start down that road.
