A little information, too, did not give peace. It is said to be a 1992 scrap or a color test. Along with that, there had to be a blue shadow called the 'Marines'.
But as you can see it was in use and definitely rare.
And maybe give this camo a name? Surprised

Our friend Merkuurilamp has provided these great photos documenting what we have agreed to name the " Mustard " pattern in use..

The first photo clearly shows these uniforms worn with Defence League patch on left shoulder..

The last picture seems to be the Defense Forces, I see behind the infantry emblem? In the middle of the pictures exudes another shade of different shades, can it then be a "Marine" shade? If so, a good picture with all the original tones on it

1992 22.04-???? 1st Model, 4 different shades(mustard, regular, green and blue) the brightness of the tones may vary.
1994?-???? 2nd Model, smooth material, lower pockets with velcro.
    1996-???? 3rd Model, with full-length zipper.
199?-???? 4th Model, with a dark undertone, whit epaulets and front rank strap, insignia attachment system.
199?-???? 5th Model(A), whit epaulets and front rank strap, insignia attachment system.
    200?-???? 5th Model(B),front rank strap,no insignia attachment system.
    200?-201? 5th Model(C)front rank,factory sewn flag,welcro name tape.
    2011-???? 6th Model(test?)ripstop.
    201?-???? 7th Model,”Mattress”,Final model Digi cut,made for reserv unit(s)or Defence League.

The Defense League, Rescue, Internal Defense "SOR" and other similar units may not be equipped in time.
It is difficult to define them in time. Because usually 2 sets were given for training. And one set less could have been used or/and  older model.

Privately has been asked, where the year came “22.04.1992
Various sources claim that the form was officially visible for the first time on that date.24.02.1992 the first parade was held after independence

There is also a three-ranked version without the “Kaitse Jõud”
The 1999-2001 version of the jacket had no induction for washing, the year and washing information was in the back pocket of the trousers

My opinion is that this is an early type. Because the “Eesti Kaitsevägi” do notwritten(The first of its kind type came without a letter”Eesti Kaitsevägi” )and this type of liner was seen in the eary type winter uniform(s)

I guess that somewhere between 1995-1997, a uniform made of "mattress" material was in use, I have only seen a winter, so I believe that it was either an experiment or due to poor material it did not find much use and a later lighter tone developed from it

One version of the camo more exists.
I already had this winter hat earlier and then I noticed that the colors were wrong, but today I received a batch of emblems and insignia of rank and there I found a shelter in the same colors.
I believe that the shade of this camo is from the mid-90s

The colouration varies fair bit depending on material, sometimes quite noticably.
Speaking of that, some stuff I've aquired

Sorry for being late to this thread!  I am only recently returned from the dead Wink  Attached are pictures of some of the early TTsKO variants that I have in my collection.  I believe one of these is the "Marines" color variant:

Very nice! Even in my days of very good Estonian contacts I didn't manage to find an unissued set of 2nd Model.

Nice bit of cloth you managed to get a hold of!

If anybody ever finds a 4th Model trousers (same as 3rd Model, but in ripstop) give me a shout. I've been waiting a long time to match with a jacket.

    Hmmm.....

Assuming there is a label in your 4th. type jacket, what is the contract date on it ?

Label is washed out, so no joy. However, I got it in 2013 and I'm pretty sure it was from a 2012 rotation. That date rings a bell as being around the time it was introduced.

The way I think of the digital desert is:

1st Model, 1st Pattern Camo - old TTsKO cut, ripstop, smaller shapes
2nd Model, 2nd Pattern Camo - new cut with exposed buttons (the set you just completed)
3rd Model, 2nd Pattern Camo - same cut as 2nd Model except with covered buttons
4th Model, 2nd Pattern Camo - same cut as 2nd Model except with ripstop fabric (slightly tanner background)

As far as I know there were no developments after this because Estonia withdrew from Afghanistan.

    Steve
